- RATIFICATION OF “PROTOCOL TO THE AFRICAN
CHARTER ON HUMAN AND PEOPLES’ RIGHTS ON
THE RIGHTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN
AFRICA” (AFRICAN DISABILITY PROTOCOL).
That this Honourable House urges the Government of Lesotho to sign
and ratify the Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’
Rights on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Africa (African
Disability Protocol) in order that people with disabilities in Lesotho can
play a meaningful role in the implementation, monitoring and
enforcement of policies and laws that directly affect their lives.
