39. PLANTING OF FRUIT BEARING TREES TO REDUCE
POVERTY.
That this Honourable House resolves to urge the Government of Lesotho to suspend the practice of planting non-fruit bearing trees in tree planting drives in favour of planting fruit bearing trees all across the country in places such as the water retention breaks in crop fields (makorota); as the new practice will benefit field owners for a long time by an ample supply of fresh fruit.
