17. OBSERVING THE 2023 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
(To be moved without Notice under Standing Order No. 32(3)).
That this Honourable House resolves to observe the 2023 International Women’s Day as one of the institutionalised days provided for by Standing Order No.78 (1), by holding a half-day session sponsored by the European Union Mission in Lesotho on 8th March, 2023 at ’Manthabiseng Convention Centre; in which Members of Parliament will interact with the public on the recently passed Bills aimed at protecting and empowering women and children; and debate the international theme for the day. 18. SHORT ADJOURNMENT: CONSIDERATION OF THE 2023/2024 ANNUAL ESTIMATES BY PORTFOLIO COMMITTEES.
That when this Honourable House rises today, Monday, 27th February, 2023, it do adjourn until Thursday, 16th March, 2023 at 2:30 p.m to afford Portfolio Committees time to consider the 2023/2024 Annual Estimates and report back to the House.
