  1. PARLIAMENTARY AND GOVERNMENT SUPPORT FOR THE TRANSFORMATION OF SADC PF INTO A REGIONAL PARLIAMENT.
    That this Honourable House resolves to support the resolution of the 43rd and 44th Plenary Assembly Sessions of the SADC Parliamentary Forum (SADC PF) to transform the Forum into a SADC Parliament, without financial implications; and urges the Government of Lesotho to do the same when the transformation agenda is considered at the SADC Council Meeting and the SADC Summit.

  2. ALLOCATION OF PROCUREMENT QUOTAS TO ECONOMICALLY EMPOWER MARGINALISED SECTIONS OF COMMUNITY.
    That this Honourable House resolves to urge the Government of Lesotho to introduce Procurement Regulations aimed at implementing the Public Procurement Policy of 2018 (7(14)) in a structured manner and specifically by aligning with Lesotho Gender and Development Policy 2018-2030 (3.4.4(14)) of 30% allocation and the Lesotho
    National Youth Policy 2017-2030 (8.1.1(7)) of 25% allocation.

  3. SUPPORT TO AND CONTROL OVER INITIATION SCHOOLS.
    That time is now opportune for the Government of Lesotho to give support to, and assume control over Initiation Schools (Lebollo) across the country by enacting laws which seek amongst others to set the following:
    (i) a calendar for the optimum time when initiation schools can be in session;
    (ii) requirements/terms and conditions for initiation schools Administrators (Babolotsi);
    (iii) minimum age of initiates;
    (iv) requirements for instructors (Basuoe);
    (v) health and environmental considerations;
    (vi) guidelines for strengthening the institution;
    (vii) policy towards aiding aspiring initiates financially as is done with modern schools; and (viii) maximum payment rates for initiates.
