- AID FOR DISASTER STRICKEN MEKALING CONSITUENCY.
- Hon. T. Lekitla (Mekaling): To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition, if he is aware that there is an outbreak and recorded cases, of an unknown disease affecting mostly cattle in Mekaling Constituency, Mohale’s Hoek District which afflicts cattle with a rapid spread of lumpy skin disease which leads to the death of cattle; and if so, how soon medication (injections and treatment) will be availed and distributed as humans are at risk of infection when they are exposed to bacteria spores in the environment or to infected animals.
