20. DISALLOWANCE OF SOME PROVISIONS OF THE MEMBERS

     OF PARLIAMENT SALARIES (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE)       REGULATIONS, 2022.

That this Honourable House resolves to disallow the following provisions contained in Legal Notice No.98- Members of Parliament Salaries (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations, 2022 tabled before the House on 8^th December, 2022:

• In Schedule 2 (Office of the Prime Minister) disallow provisions 1 and 2;

• In Schedule 2 (Office of the Deputy Prime Minister) disallow provisions 1 and 2;

• In Schedule 2 (Office of the Minister, Speaker of the National Assembly and President of the Senate) disallow provisions 1 and 2;

• In Schedule 2 (Office of the Deputy Minister, Deputy

Speaker, Vice President of the Senate and Leader of Opposition) disallow provisions 1 and 2; and

• In Schedule 2 (Office of MP and Member of the

                     Senate) disallow provisions 1, 2 and 5.

 22. CHANGE OF SITTING HOURS OF THE HOUSE IN 

                   RESPECT OFTHE 2023/2024 ANNUAL ESTIMATES.

That this Honourable House resolves to change the hour of commencement of sitting of the House for Mondays to Thursdays from 2.30 p.m  to 9.00 a.m and the hour of conclusion of sitting for Fridays from 1.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. in respect of the 2023/2024 Annual Estimates.
